Abbottabad Doctor’s Murder Sparks Protests as 3 Suspects Arrested

Abbottabad Doctor’s Murder. Protests against the death of a doctor in Abbottabad result in the arrest of three suspects. Following the questioning of the primary suspect’s close friend Rida, the police stated that the doctor’s body had been recovered from the Thandiani woodlands.

ABBOTTABAD: Following a post-mortem examination, Dr. Warda, a young female doctor who was kidnapped and killed in Abbottabad, was buried on Tuesday. In addition to the residents who called for prompt justice in the case, many family members and coworkers attended the funeral.

Following the interrogation of the primary suspect’s close friend Rida, whom the investigating team had detained, the police announced the discovery of the doctor’s body from the Thandiani woodlands. The officials said that Dr. Warda had given her companion 67 tolas of gold. According to police, the suspect allegedly planned to have the doctor assassinated and kept the gold.

According to police detectives, the lady suspect gave the victim to hired killers, who subsequently disposed of the body in a remote woodland. Based on her information, police detained three males, one of whom was suspected of killing the victim. However, the main suspect escaped capture and is still at large.

Residents of Abbottabad are angry and afraid as a result of the incident. The Doctors Association protested as well, claiming that if action had been done sooner, the tragedy would have been avoided. They called for severe penalties for everyone concerned.

Family members have been reassured by police that the case is being handled with the utmost priority and that all suspects would be apprehended shortly.

In addition, three individuals have been detained by Abbottabad police in relation to the violent death of Dr. Warda, a physician assigned to the DHQ Hospital. One of Dr. Warda’s close pals is among the suspects, according to District Police Officer (DPO) Haroon Rasheed. A fourth person, who is still at large, was involved in the premeditated homicide, according to investigators. The last suspect is being intensively sought for by the authorities.

DPO Haroon Rasheed said that Dr. Warda was buried close to Thandiani after being strangled to death. After the post-mortem examination, the precise cause of death will be determined. Police sources further said that because the murder was planned and carried out, the detained suspects might be charged under provisions connected to terrorism.

According to the investigation, Dr. Warda drove out on December 4 with a buddy. Before being killed, she was last seen alive that day. The local community was shocked and outraged when her body was eventually found in the Lari Binota area.

On Dr. Warda’s father’s complaint, the case was filed. Doctors, paramedics, and members of civil society staged demonstrations at Fawara Chowk and blocked the Karakoram Highway to demand justice when her murder was discovered.

Additionally, police revealed that Dr. Warda had given her companion 67 tolas of gold to keep safe. Investigators are looking into whether the murder was related to disagreements over the gold. According to a thorough police assessment, Peshawar has seen an unsettling rise in violent and street crime this year.
