Amazon AWS Outage. Hundreds of websites are offline for hours due to an Amazon outage. The well-known cloud service firm Amazon Web Services (AWS) reported an issue at its Northern Virginia data center. The incident demonstrated the true fragility of the global internet infrastructure. Many websites and apps were unavailable for more than two hours
